Mordo and Aunt May's finding Spider-Man's secret identity are one of the wasted plot of the MCU.

Getting knocked from the DC universe to the Marvel universe is an upgrade no matter how/when/why it happens.

It always annoyed me that in 2017, Mordo "dedicated" his life to getting rid of other sorcerers but by MCU Spiderman 3/Dr. Strange 2, which takes place at the end of 2024, there's nothing to show for it. We don't see any sorcerers hunted or anything mentioned in the film. All Mordo did was steal the powers from a cripple which is villainous but mostly fucked up and unwarranted. Then in the deleted opening of Multiverse of Madness, he gets wrecked by Wanda, which may or may not be canon. What a waste of a character.
